This heater replaces my Lasko heater. While i liked Lasko, the temp setting was always off by four degrees… I bought the DREO due to better quality and performance.
The only drawback is the unit does not tell me instant room tempature. For example, when I wake up on a cold morning, I like to look up from my bed and see instantly what the current temperature is in the room. I like the ability of seeing what my set temperature is and what the current temperature is in the room.
However, the overall performance of the Dreo is more efficient and faster.

This is the best heater I’ve ever owned by far! The unit is quiet, it pushes out a lot of heat even on the lowest setting, and there is no chemical smell! Love it!

I live in a 400 square foot apartment, which is quite small.And only with this heating tower can I get the whole apartment to a fairly acceptable temperature Given that it's currently 40 Fahrenheit outside, the apartment stays up to 84 Fahrenheit inside just with this tower. I love that it has a remote control because I can turn it off from bed when I'm too hot. It is really very quiet and its 70-degree rotation perfectly covers the necessary area.

This is an excellent space heater that can put out lots of heat. It has the necessary functions (high and low settings as well as thermostat control, oscillate, etc.) that you would expect as well as the safety features (tip-over, overheating, ETL Certification, child lock, etc.) that are mandatory for this type of appliance.
The thermostat does a good job maintaining the set temperature. If I set it to 73°, it will maintain an 11x17 foot room's temperature between 72° and 74°. The Dreo is powerful enough to maintain the room at the temperature I want.
If you are a light sleeper note that while the fan is almost silent, when the relay for the heater opens or closes it does make a barely audible "click."
Instructions are easy to understand and a remote control with batteries is supplied. You have to assemble a 2-piece stand for the heater but that's not a problem.

We have had other space heaters and decided to go with the Dreo based on customer reviews and we are happy we did. Unit is very quiet, the 3 levels of heat output and 70 degree oscillation heats and area very quickly, it's size and appearance in a room doesn't make it look like a space heater and the display on the unit and backlit controls are a definite plus. We haven't used the timer option as our practice is to always be in the room when the heater is in use.
This heater is relatively quiet. The lowest setting is a quiet hum, with higher settings getting noticeably louder. It warms well, and relatively quickly, even at the lowest heat setting. The instructions are relatively vague, but if you’ve ever owned a similar heater, you’ll figure it out. The base is easy to put together, and the cord is actually a decent length.
The only quirk is the remote. It is confusing to use at first, and the instructions don’t really help. But once you figure it out, it will do everything you want it to.
I think it’s a little pricey, but I’m happy with it so far.
Im in a two story condo, in the mountains. My 32 year old heat pump died and a new one will be coming soon.
I bought two Dreo heaters. The 17 in is in my upstairs 16 x 14bedroom. The unit has 3 settings. The lowest setting, #1, at 67 degrees heats this bedroom really well. I liked it so much, I ordered the 23 in.
The 23 in. is wonderful as well. It is in the downstairs open dining room/living room. I use setting #2 for those rooms.
The downstairs never gets sun light, so the rooms are really cold, but the 23 in helps.
It has been in the late 32 and 46 degrees outside the last week or so. The footprint on these units are 6 and 7 inches.
Heat buster!! This works so well. Very impressed with how hot it makes large rooms, even my non-insulated sunroom got warm when it was 53 degrees outside. Love it! I even got the mini for my bathroom.
Just got mine. I have heat down to 64 and this heater gets my big rooms warm quickly
