Looks great. Heats great. I am very pleased with my purchase. It's exactly what I had hoped for. And the fact that there is no fan blowing is the BEST feature.
We like how it earms up the room and the fact that it’s silent is a bonus. We got a high usage notification from our electric company so it uses a lot of power. Will use it sparingly.
Definitely works well. I have a one bedroom apartment it heats up my living room and bedroom no problem. The wheels are good quality too they dont get stuck. They Move very easily.
Every thing I expected! The remote is easy to use which makes it nice to control the heater
even while in bed. A well designed and built product. I’m not the smartest dude around, so
it took awhile to figure out what ECO meant in the user manual. It’s actually a nice feature
in the heat mode settings which allows the heater to automatically maintain temperature set
by the user. Overall the user guide is very easy to follow.
I purchased two of these Dreo touchscreen oil filled heaters. I also have a couple of DeLongi and Pelonis manual dial oil filled heaters.
My new Dreo heaters are great. The heat that comes off of the Dreo seems more even in the rooms than the others.
I bought this heater in preparation for renting an older house without central heating and air. I'd read that oil filled heaters were better at maintaining heat over time and could help with energy costs, so this is what I opted for.
Overall, I like it. Controls are great, I appreciate the safety features, and it's easy to just roll around the house. However, I find it performs best when it's in a more enclosed space instead of out in the open due to it providing radiant heat. It works well in the hallway/area that connects my bedroom, computer room, and bathroom. It heats up that smaller space easily and the heat will eventually radiate into those rooms enough to be comfortable. In the living area/kitchen? Not so much. That area is much more open with less walls to maintain the heat that radiates from the fins. A more open space like that would benefit more from forced air, I believe. So, this radiator is still worth it, just be more aware of where you're using it (more than I was initially, lol).
This radiator works perfectly, except for one thing that is making me consider returning it. There is a high-pitched ringing noise coming from the electrical components inside the unit. It turns on at times and is irritating to me as I work in an otherwise quiet room. It is not loud, but persistent when it's on. Sometimes the noise doesn't come on, but it doesn't seem to be something I can control. I think it has to do with how much power the unit is using. I contacted customer support who were very helpful, but it turns out this is just how the unit is. It might not bother most people. I'm particularly sensitive. The radiator is otherwise a very nice machine. It works well, and the thermostat is very nice to have. The unit measures the temp in the room and turns on or of as needed to maintain your set temp.
I would recommend this unit. But if you have excellent hearing and are bothered by little noises, then this may not be for you.
I’m so impressed with this Dreo oil-filled radiator! It heats up my large living room quickly and maintains a steady, comfortable warmth without drying out the air. The digital thermostat is accurate, and I love the different modes for adjusting the heat level based on the time of day.
It’s whisper-quiet, so it’s perfect for bedrooms or offices — no buzzing or fan noise at all. The remote control and 24-hour timer make it super convenient, and the child lock plus tip-over protection give me extra peace of mind.
Overall, it’s sleek, easy to move, and very energy-efficient. This heater has made a huge difference during colder days — definitely worth every penny! 🔥🏠
Good thing to have . It’s not gonna save you if you trying to keep whole house warm . But for one room or guest room in apartments it’ll work . Pretty seal , heat is good enough, for its price. I saw some comments about the smell . And yeas it’s a real thing for maybe first couple times you turn it on full power. After that it’s gone . Second year with it and I like it . And it’s pretty light . Not like cheap light .
This is one of the best purchases we ever made after moving to a colder climate. The portability and remote are awesome features. It keeps the ambient temperature perfect and we keep it on ECO. It costs less to run then the mini split unit in our rented manufactured home. We make sure to wipe off any dust with a dry cloth after it sits idle during summer and we don't smell a thing. It's also a huge hit with the cats.
This heater is awesome! I live in an older home, 110 years old, sectioned into 3 apartments. My apartment had a gas furnace and that worries me. Why I bought this heater. Best decision ever! First it arrived on time within 2 days and was delivered professionally too. Also this heater comes from a reputable company with excellent customer service. If anything goes wrong with this heater they correct the situation asap and offer a reasonable shipping solution. Some other good things about this heater. It has loads of safety features. It has a setting to control watt usages. You can set it at 600, 900, or 1500 watts. So you won't overload your breaker or outlets and risk a fire. Also it has anti-tip over protection. If it tips over or gets too close to anything it shuts off immediately. It is fully digital so no errors with the settings. My apartment is 500 square feet and it keeps the while apartment toasty warm. No joke. It has an anti-fire setting. So I can leave this on 24/7 and not worry about it catching forever. Huge as I work a lot with my pets at home. And no funky smells either. This is seriously an amazing heater and a solid investment. Worth every penny. I totally recommend it.
I really like this heater, works perfectly if your room isn't real large. I'm heating a small bedroom with an attached bathroom and it's ideal for that. I tried it in a large room and it did very little to heat up that room. Nice looking, it's well built, should work hopefully many winters here in the mountains of northern New Mexico.
This is an early review. I won't be able to really put this through its paces until the weather cools down considerably here in Southern California. Everything seems first rate. Good materials, solid construction, quick to heat up. Seems much safer than the usual electric heaters/fans. My mom is worried about knocking portable heaters over and causing problems, and rights or wrongly, she is not reassured by models that feature automatic shut-off if knocked over. This seems to have solved that problem for her... and us!
This is a really well-made and effective radiator heater, just not quite the right fit for our particular needs. We live in a warmer southern state and bought this to warm up a single room on cooler days. While it absolutely does heat a room—very efficiently, I might add—it ended up being more powerful and larger than what we needed for our small space.
That said, the heater works exactly as described. It’s quiet, easy to use with the dual knobs, and it warms large areas evenly without making the air feel dry. The safety features are a great bonus too, especially if you plan to use it in a bedroom or around kids or pets. It’s built for serious heating, and it shows.
If you’re in a colder climate or need to warm a larger room consistently, I think this would be an excellent choice. For us, it just wasn’t the right size or power level—but that doesn’t take away from the quality of the product.
Quiet, Steady Heat
The Dreo radiator heater warms a room evenly without drying out the air. Dual knobs make it simple to use, and it runs quietly.
Pros: Effective heat, safe design, quiet.
Cons: Takes a bit to warm up.
Bottom line: A dependable heater for bedrooms or offices.
This small heater is quiet and radiates heat nicely for the bedroom. There are different power settings and the controls are easy to access. The heater has temperature settings so keeping it on low at night works great for my bedroom. I tested the heater on low as it is not too cold here at night. The heater looks well made. It doesn't make noise because there is no fan. There are castor wheels which are easy to assemble to roll the heater around. I really like this heater for its even heat distribution and no fan noise. The heater will be used this winter to supplement the house heater and for the price this heater has good value.
